The researchers rode a bus to a palm plantation in Curuan, Zamboanga City, Philippines. Observations and note-takings about palm oil was a must. Not only did the researchers gain knowledge, but was also allowed to bring back to school a handful of empty fruit bunches to work with in their experiment. They were also welcomed to visit their site anytime for more questions and materials.
